Program Overview

IM Studium in Kürze

In which role do you see yourself? Please roll over the silhouette.

The big yellow M. The silver star. The white italic lettering on a red background – we live in a world full of logos. However, there are comparatively few smart minds behind these brands. During your International Marketing Bachelor's Degree course, you will learn to become a brand maker: that is, how to develop marketing strategies, conquer international markets or create new products. With a Bachelor of Arts, your future prospects will be excellent, for example in advertising agencies, marketing departments, sales or product management. But before you press fast forward to your career, let’s take a look at your program:

Internship

At the end of your Bachelor's Program you will gain practical experience in an internship - three to six months in which you have the opportunity to put your knowledge and enthusiasm to the test under real world conditions – and which may even serve as basis for your Bachelor's thesis. We will help you to find an internship, drawing on our established network of contacts in the business world.

"When you walk past a billboard for the new E-Class on the street, you don't realize how much work has gone into creating it. During my internship at Daimler in the Brand Communication Department I experienced this process first-hand."

Marc Sussner, Student of Karlshochschule International University

Studying Abroad

Paris – a city with artistic flair, ideal for creative marketing.

The program is internationally oriented: English is the language of instruction from the 3rd semester and it is mandatory to learn another foreign language, such as Arabic or Spanish. This philosophy bears fruit in the 5th semester at the very latest – in the obligatory semester abroad, during which you will gain credit points at one of our partner universities, e.g. in Lincoln, Istanbul or Honolulu. Links to the websites of our partner universities can be found in the column in the right.

Project Phases

IMA projektphasen

During your International Marketing studies, you will have to cope with reading a considerable amount of literature, as is the case with every degree program. However, you will be able to apply your knowledge right away! Your professors will regularly involve you and your fellow students in real hands-on projects, e.g. developing a new product line or designing an advertising campaign.
