The world of media therefore continuously requires new creative contents that are constantly being changed and invented. New technologies have opened up innovative ways of networking internationally and growing for media corporations. However, companies must also remain profitable in this multi-faceted media landscape. The “International Media and Communication Management” Bachelor’s program will prepare you for a successful career working in and with media companies in an increasingly competitive international business world, for example as business planner in an international media corporation, campaign manager in an agency or as media consultant for organizations. - The Bachelor's degree program in Media and Communication Management has been accredited with good results by FIBAA.
Internship
Studying abroad

The program is internationally oriented: English is the language of instruction from the 3rd semester and it is mandatory to learn another foreign language, such as Spanish or Arabic. This philosophy bears fruit in the 5th semester at the very latest – when you are recommended to study for a semester abroad, during which you will gain credit points at one of our partner universities. Project Phases

During your studies of International Media and Communication Management, you will have to cope with reading a considerable amount of literature, as is the case with every degree program. However, you will be able to apply your knowledge right away! Your professors will regularly involve you and your fellow students in real hands-on projects, such as advising an international company on their public relations activities or conducting lobbying activities for an NGO.

Broaden your knowledge in the library or language laboratory.
2. Case-Studies



Create case studies and analyse business plans, for instance.
3. Business simulation games

Gain practice-oriented know-how during business simulation games covering a broad range of areas.
4. Role plays


Prepare yourself in role plays for job interviews etc.
5. Business excursions

Take a look behind the scenes during business excursions. For example at the 1&1 computing centre.
6. Lectures by industry practitioners

Be inspired by guest lecturers from the world of economics, culture or sport.
