Student Commitment

In my mind I see a University that is not just a charitable foundation on paper, but is actually a force for good in our society as well. I see this particularly in the student body because they show their commitment by their initiatives and their involvement in a wide range of projects. For example, they contribute to the International Weeks against Racism with events, organize trash collection campaigns in the region, or organize meeting and exchange opportunities for various actors together with locally active civil society organizations. In addition, they make an important contribution to the cultural life of the city in the Karlshochschule's "Future Workshop" together with all interested citizens.

I imagine there is a special atmosphere here in which social problems are not only critically analyzed, but the students use the skills they have learned in a variety of ways for a sustainable world.
