Communication Management (B.A.)

Bachelor’s degree program

You believe that almost everything in our world revolves around communication: that’s why our world needs people like you in all kinds of areas: In marketing departments, in public relations for companies and non-profit organizations, but also in HR and finance departments. You not only enjoy communicating, but are also fascinated by the psychological background, formal genres and social dynamics of communication. In particular, you believe that stories are not only one of the oldest forms of communication, but also one of the most persuasive. With this knowledge in mind, you can not only work for companies and organizations, but also understand and change society!

The course focuses on both communication and management and their overlaps. It follows an interdisciplinary approach that combines management studies, marketing science, communication science, psychological approaches and cultural studies. There is a strong focus on applied skills such as the development of strategic campaigns and digital communication, but also on reflective potential for understanding communicative processes in our society. During a semester abroad, you can deepen your skills at one of our partner universities.
