As a scientist, I want a University that doesn't wear blinkers. A place where colleagues from different disciplines can openly engage and inspire each other. I imagine this is a place where we can deconstruct traditional concepts and maybe rebuild them. Take for example the idea of an economic as a cultural process, or being convinced that Arts and Cultural Management can also play an equally important role as Accounting.
When I attend a conference here, I know I will experience inspiring presentations. But more than that, I will encounter people who think differently, and who take a new perspective on the economy and culture. A fact recognized by the faculties of those two programs.
