In my mind I see a University that is not just a charitable foundation on paper, but is actually a force for good in our society as well. I see this particularly in the student body because they show their commitment by their initiatives and their involvement in a wide range of projects. For example, their willingness to address current issues in their theater group, or operate a non-profit event agency.
What is more, together with other local citizens, with their "Future Workshop" they make a significant contribution to the cultural life of the city. It is easy to imagine there is a unique spirit involved, which can also be felt at the "Karlsgespräche".
