In times of uncertainty and change, it is important to me that the university where I will study is adaptable enough to provide me with a learning environment that fits my needs. The best way for me to get an accurate picture of the Karlshochschule and its special approach is to experience it live.

Open House & Karls 360°: Experience the Karls!

At the Open House Days & Karls 360° you have the opportunity to learn more about the study program you’re interested in and the university.

You can chat with students, for example about their everyday life, the city of Karlsruhe, the practical semester or their experiences abroad. That way you get a first impression of what it is like to study at the Karls. Furthermore, you are able ask all questions about the application process.

The Open Houses take place at our site in Karlsruhe, the Karls 360° are the digital versions of them.

Save the date of our next Open House Day on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. This info day is part of the nationwide study information day supported by the state Baden-Württemberg (in Germany). Students will have the opportunity to visit the Karlshochschule on site. More details will come in the following days.

Study-Information-Day of Baden-Württemberg: 17. Nov. 2021

In the course of the central study-information-day Baden-Württemberg, you have the opportunity to get to know your favorite course of studies and Karlshochschule in detail.

Gap year, training or study? And anyway, which course of study and where? Your head is full of questions? There are just too many options and you have to decide? Karlshochschule supports you in your decision.

At the info day you can chat with our students, for example about how they made their decision, what questions they asked themself and what, in retrospect, would have been the really important questions. In addition, you will of course learn a lot about their everyday study life, about the city of Karlsruhe, the internship semester or even their experiences abroad. You will also get a first impression of what it is like to be at Karls. In short workshops with our profs you will experience the Karls and learn everything about our study programs.

We organize 2 identical sessions: one with a start at 10 am CET and another one with a start at 2 pm CET. For those who find the journey too far, we will also broadcast both sessions online. Please make sure to register for your preferred version.

FAQ about Karls 360° (online)

What are the technical requirements for my participation?

All you need is a computer, smartphone or tablet with a camera and microphone, and a stable Internet connection.

On which platform will the online event take place?

Just like for our online classes, we use the Microsoft Teams platform for Karl's 360°.

How do I get access to Karls 360°?

You do not need any special software for your participation (works via the respective browser), however, it is recommended to download the desktop version of Microsoft Teams in advance. Before the start we will send you a confirmation mail with a link, which you only have to click.

Why do I have to register in advance?

In order for us to add you to the team sessions, we need to set up an account in teams, for which we need your email and name. We will send you the access data electronically.

What if I do not receive a confirmation email?

In this case, please check the spam folder of your email program to see if the mail has gone there.

In which language will the event take place?

As usual at Karlshochschule International University, Karls 360° will communicate mostly in English.

What can I expect during the online event?

Our aim is to give you a vivid impression of how it feels to study at "Karls", as we call our university.

Who can I get in contact with at Karls 360°?

You will not only meet professors and students of the study programs you are interested in, but you will also meet our admissions team and can ask questions about your application.

How can I prepare for the appointment?

The best way is to have a look at our Bachelor's programs and prepare concrete questions you have for us.

How long does the entire experience last?

If you want to participate in all sessions, you should plan on about three hours. You can find the exact times in the program.

What else is there to consider?

Your microphone should always be switched off so that no background noise is transmitted audibly to everyone. Of course, you can activate the microphone again if you want to ask questions at the end.  If you prefer to remain anonymous during the experience, you can also switch off your camera.

Where can I register?

To register, simply fill out the form here on this website.

What happens to my data after the online event?

Your data will be deleted from the event platform (Microsoft Teams) after the event.

Can I also arrange a personal consultation?
