Karlshochschule International University meets or exceeds the strict requirements set forth by the following accrediting bodies and is officially recognized and authorized to grant B.A. and M.A. degrees.
System accreditation was granted by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) on April 13, 2015 without any conditions.
The system accreditation by an external accreditation agency (FIBAA) enables Karlshochschule to accredit its study programs itself in a self-procedure by an external expert commission in each case. Since the system accreditation in 2015, all programs of Karlshochschule have undergone this accreditation procedure. According to the decision of the Accreditation Council on March 31, 2023, Karlshochschule International University has been re-accredited until March 31, 2030.
Karlshochschule has had statutory accreditation from the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts in Baden-Württemberg since 2005.
By granting its institutional accreditation, the Wissenschaftsrat ascertained that this non-state University can reach a level of teaching and research that matches recognized academic standards. In this way, both academic effectiveness and the functionality of internal quality control systems are ensured.
