Prof. Dr. Johann Schneider was Professor of Sociology at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences from 1976 to 2009, as well as its Rector (1987-1994) and Vice-Rector (1982-1987).
As well as being a member of the Accreditation Commission of the Council of Science and Humanities and the FIBAA, he was also an active member of the Board of the Brandenburg State Higher Education Council and of the ISR Institute for Urban and Regional Development.
He is a member of various expert groups and structural commissions in the field of higher education planning.
Dr. Schneider graduated in sociology with a focus on urban sociology, organizational sociology and ethics.
